Snow Kissed (The Greeting Farm image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I have an old well loved winter girl stamp from The Greeting Farm here on my card today. I added some die cut trees (die cut with green paper then added a white layer over the top slightly above so we can see a little bit of the green tree branches). I used borders from Lawn Fawn.

Birthday Penguins card

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's a beautiful warm day here in Oz but I've made 3 winter cards as most of you are all in winter right now, hopefully it's not too cold for you. I'm off to lunch with a couple of visiting  relatives from the UK so I'm going to make these posts as quick as I can as I'm still in my pyjamas hehe (my computer doesn't like my spelling of pyjamas, I'm guessing you'll all be thinking I've spelled it wrong but that's how we spell it here, I know, it doesn't make much sense to add a "y" to it lol). This image is no longer available and I fussy cut the little background penguins and trees from some patterned papers I had.

Birthday Bear with gifts card (Di's Digis image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

This is my favourite card of the day to post, I actually made the background for a Saturated Canary image but when I put my sweet bear against it I liked them together better, sometimes that happens doesn't it? The gorgeous image is from Di's Digis. I used a star stencil and white smooth texture paste, waited for it to dry then sponged some oxide inks over it. Some crafters manage to get the stars to stay white, I tried baby wiping them but they remained yellow and I didn't mind it but I'd love to know if you know a handy tip for my issue?

A winter baby congratulations card

Funny Gus Male Birthday card (Bugaboo Stamps image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

Here's a funny little card made with an image and sentiment from Bugaboo. How true is this hehe? I'm not sure my hubby would be game to forget my birthday, I know he gets my card at the last minute but he always picks nice ones so I can't complain. We normally have an overnight stay in the city (Melbourne) for my Birthday, that's always my favourite way to celebrate.

Flying mice Birthday card (Di's Digis image)

Hi Crafty Friends,

I hope you're all enjoying 2018 so far. 

I have a few cards to add to my blog today. I love creating scalloped circle cards, they make such a sweet shape I think. I've used a gorgeous image from Di's Digis, they could be perfect for Valentine's Day too don't you think? Maybe I'll make a Valentine's Day card with them and make it completely different just for fun. I used some old Liquid Pearls for my blue dots but I wish I had some blue Nuvo drops as I get a much cleaner and uniform look at the end.
